A Faster PC – In Any Language

PC Pitstop’s Optimize product is now available in Spanish and Portuguese. The language can be set during the Optimize setup and changed inside the application by going to ‘Review previous runs, or restore settings’. Look for Optimize to become available in other languages in the near future.

  1. I think this guy does not understand that vista 64 bit machines have trouble in general. I do believe from personal experience that it was corrupt files from Microsoft in the first place that caused the problem. I couldn’t get service pack one to install without a fresh install of vista so I believe there is more of a problem with vista on his machine then he knows.

  2. Dave H,

It sounds like you had a bad experience after using Optimize, but whatever happened it was an isolated incident on your local PC. I am writing this on a Vista 64 computer that has had both Optimize 1.5 and 2.0 run on it many times, even before they were certified for use on the 64 bit platform, and I guarantee it has not been ‘trashed’ in any way, shape, or form. I also oversee the beta testing of all PC Pitstop products as well as manage the PC Pitstop help desk, and what you are saying about Optimize not working with Vista 64 simply has no basis in fact, other than your single bad experieince. The fact that other Vista 64 installations are not being ‘trashed’ casts a reasonable doubt on your allegation that it is a universal problem. I’m sorry to hear you had trouble, and had you contacted us, we would have worked with you to find out what exactly went wrong and would have helped to restore the computer.

  3. I see you Pitstop folks are STILL not telling your potential customers that Optimize 2.0 will trash their Vista x64 systems. This is totally dishonest on your part and speaks volumes as to the kind of sleazy company you have become. Its way past time for you to clean up your act.

  4. I’m in the midst of taking a prequestite computer class at a Community College which involves learning & using Windows Vista. Perhaps my problem is that I’m not a geek. I have used a number of other Windows programs, and other properitary soft ware programs, with fewer(frustrating) problems. As far as I’m concern Bill Gates can keep Windows Vista. If Vista becomes Microsoft’s only supportive operating system( as predicted) I’ll buy a Mac.
