  1. Chris, seriously, when you go to a party do you expect your “host” to eat for you?? I listened to your $.02 worth, now here’s mine. A web host’s job is not to troubleshoot every website they host! If you can’t troubleshoot your own website you don’t need to be on the web to begin with(IMHO)! You need to realize that a “host” is one who provides an access point just like a party host provides a home or auditorium for you to mingle. None of them that I know of advertise or even charge enough to attempt to constantly monitor every site on their platform – my host for the last 5 years has been Netfirms and I pay them a whopping $9.95 a month for their services. I don’t expect, nor would I desire for them to be monitoring or manipulating my website for less than $120 annually.
