I don’t know about you, but I always wondered how hackers know passwords when they aren’t so obvious. There’s always the possibility of using a software to hack in of course, but are they really smart enough to read our minds and figure out what we chose?

Microsoft Research has been working on a password telepathy that can help you understand how predictable your password is to a hacker. As you type in a password, it guesses what your password is.

I decided to test this out. I have what I figured are unlikely, especially since one in particular is a random generated one. The result? 2 of 2 were guessed correct!

  1. Your Techtalk was not very helpful, especially since it inclulded links which were determined to be in-secure. Why not simplify steps or procedures and issue only them? We are not tech savt, We need direct – accurate guidance, not generalized probabilities.
